The new iBT test has four sections: Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing. The first 2 sections have objective-type questions, and the last 2 sections have subjective-type questions. In the new Speaking section you have to answer by speaking into a mike to record your responses. Some new question tasks, called integrated tasks, require the student to combine more than one skill for e.g. reading, listening and then writing; or reading, listening and then speaking. The integrated tasks appear in the writing and speaking section only.
The total time for the test will be approximately 4 hours.
The score for each section will be in the range of 0-30, and the overall score range will be from 0-120. The score will be available 15 working days after the test and can be viewed online free of cost. A copy of the score report will be sent by mail later.
We offer a 3 weeks course which consists of lectures for 2 weeks followed by 4 appointments (2 each for speaking and writing) and 2 mock tests which you can take at dates of your own conveniences. The lectures give a detailed insight into the 4 sections and the appointments give personalized attention for practicing the speaking and writing sections. The mock tests will prepare you fully for the final test. In short, it is a comprehensive and practical course for your success in the new TOEFL iBT.
