Taking an appointment at the academy

A total of four appointments for Analytical Writing essays can be taken between the hours of 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. These are currently available only to registered students of the academy. Students can take the appointments at the reception desk. The appointment duration is 80 minutes. Students are requested to bring at least one response each for both the question types i.e. One response for issue topics and one for the argument topics.

Online appointments

Students can also take Analytical Writing essay appointments online with audio-visual conferencing. This feature is being offered on a trial basis and appointments will be given on a first come first served basis.

Booking the appointment

The appointments can be booked by calling up the reception desk (020-25656237) between the hours of 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Software and hardware requirements

• A computer with a broadband internet connection (min. 256 Kbps, 512 kbps and above recommended for video conferencing)
• Yahoo Messenger or Google Talk installed on the system
• A headphone and a microphone
• A web camera (optional)

Taking the online appointment

• The counselors' IDs will be provided by the reception desk. Please add them in your friends list
• Please log in at least 5 minutes prior to the appointment
• Your essays can be sent to the counselors using file transfer/sharing or email. The essays should preferably be typed in Notepad. You may also send Microsoft Word documents. Please include your name, roll number and batch number in each file you send
• Please keep your AWM classwork and homework manuals with you since you might need to refer to them in the course of the appointment
