Essay Appointments for GRE® and GMAT Analytical Writing
Taking an appointment at the academy
Students can get their analytical writing essays reviewed by trained counsellors and get immediate feedback on areas like quality of analysis and coverage by taking appointments with our counsellors. A total of four appointments for Analytical Writing essays can be taken between the hours of 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. These are currently available only to registered students of the academy. Students can take the appointments at the reception desk by calling up 02025656237.
Appointment Details
- Appointment duration : 80 minutes.
- What to get for the appointment: One response each for both the question types i.e. Issues and Arguments on a CD or on a floppy as a text document (.txt) file, and the Analytical Writing Homework manual. Please note that pen drives are not allowed at the academy
Online appointments
Students can also take Analytical Writing essay appointments online with audio-visual conferencing. This feature is being offered on a trial basis and appointments will be given on a first come first served basis.
Booking the appointment
The appointments can be booked by calling up the reception desk (020-25656237) between the hours of 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Software and hardware requirements
- A computer with a broadband internet connection (min. 256 Kbps, 512 kbps and above recommended for video conferencing)
- Yahoo Messenger or Google Talk installed on the system
- A headphone and a microphone
- A web camera (optional)
Taking the online appointment
- The counselors' IDs will be provided by the reception desk. Please add them in your friends list
- Please log in at least 5 minutes prior to the appointment
- Your essays can be sent to the counselors using file transfer/sharing or email. The essays should preferably be typed in Notepad. You may also send Microsoft Word documents. Please include your name, roll number and batch number in each file you send
- Please keep your AWM classwork and homework manuals with you since you might need to refer to them in the course of the appointment
